About the Swiss-Sub-Saharan Africa business Development Program
The Swiss-Sub-Saharan business development program (SSABDP) aims to enhance the entrepreneurial skills and exposure of sub-Saharan Africa graduate students and entrepreneurs seeking growth opportunities. It intends to do that by bringing sub-Saharan Africa entrepreneurs to innovative hotspots in Nairobi and Switzerland.
This offer is for ambitious young entrepreneurs with an academic background. It comprises a 3-day workshop for advanced innovation entrepreneurs and for the top eight candidates a 4-day intense business development venture leaders program in the Swiss startup and business ecosystem. This program is completely free.
Eligibility
This program is open to graduate students, entrepreneurs, and startups from Sub-Saharan Africa innovative hubs. The candidate must possess a strong link to academia, developing products or services in the field of mobile health, Pharmacometrics, innovative financing and digital humanities (knowledge transfer).
Your project or organization must major on research or technology, developed at a local university/ research institute.

Program
3-day workshop in Nairobi
on the first day, the selected candidates will learn how to deliver a unique customer value and also define a striking business plan.
On the second day, the candidates will learn how to Shape a winning team and equally secure funding for growth.
finally, on the third day, the candidates will master a convincing pitch and there will be an individual coaching session.
Candidates will now make a presentation to an African – Swiss jury. Thereafter, eight candidates will be selected for a 4-day action packed entrepreneurial development week in Switzerland.
